Enrolment

Students are able to enrol before they turn 5 and pre-enrolment is encouraged.  Students generally start on or around their 5th birthday.  Pre-visits are also encouraged, please contact the school office to arrange this.

We have a school zone (see below).

When enroling please bring a birth certificate or passport, proof of address, and if available an immunisation certificate.

If required, proof of eligibility to enrol in a New Zealand School, e.g. Residency Permit. Student Visa.

School uniforms can be purchased from NZ Uniforms, 16 Bishop Dunn Place, Flatbush phone 09 281 3531 and children will need to be in full school uniform when they start school.

School Zone

All students who live within the home zone described below and/or shown on the attached map shall be entitled to enrol at the school.

Starting at the intersection of Jellicoe Road and Green Road, travel south down Jellicoe Road (even addresses included), and then continue southeast along Lagoon Drive (even addresses included) until Bridge Street. Travel northwest along Bridge Street (included), Riverview Road (included), and east along Kings Road (both sides of roads included, also included Armein Road and Allenby Road) until Dunkirk Road. Travel north along Dunkirk Road (4-6 even, 47 and below odd included) until turning northwest along Alamein Road (excluded), then southwest along Larsen Road (excluded) and then southwest along Tripoli Road (40 and below even, 35 and below odd included). Turn northwest along Stewart Avenue (both side included; Tunis Road, McCulloch Road excluded) until turning south briefly along Pilkington Road (52 and below even, 41 and below odd included), and then west along Green Road (both sides included) back to the origin.

All no exit roads within the boundaries described above are included in the zone unless otherwise stated.

Proof of residence within the home zone will be required. 

Each year, applications for enrolment in the following year from in-zone students will be sought by a date which will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.  This will enable the board to assess the number of places which can be made available to students who live outside the home zone.
