Weekly Wrap

PBS Dominators

This week the Dominators played their 2nd grading game against Michael Park School.

Improvements were made across the court with the ball being controlled more and feeding the shooters in a good position was a priority.

Michael park were a bit more drilled and had a bit more size than last weeks opposition. However the Dominators clicked and ran out 22-4 winners.

Great efforts welcoming Haylee back from an ankle injury and Leitu developing her confidence in the shooting circle.

After School Basketball

We began the 6 week Tamaki Basketball competition last night.

PBS 1 played Glenbrae 2 winning 16-10

PBS 2 played Glenbare 1 losing 32-0

For many this was the first experience playing basketball and it was impressive to see our students come together and have a go.

Volleyball Interschool

Wednesday 5th August we sent 3 teams to the Tamaki Volleyball Cluster day at Barfoot and Thompson Stadium.

All the students played hard and adapted to different rules throughout the day. There were some mixed results, however all students walked away enjoying the day and improving each game.
