Wednesday 9th June saw 2 Year 5/6 Volleyball teams compete at the Tamaki Cluster Volleyball day. There were over 30 teams in attendance which made for a very loud and chaotic Barfoot and Thompson Stadium.
Panmure Bridge 1 won all there games against Tamaki Primary, Pt England, Bailey Rd, Stonefields and Glenbrae.
Panmure Bridge 2 Won 2 games, Drew 1 game and lost 2 games.
It was hugely successful for this age group to have this experience.
Our year 7/8 team is in full swing. They train every Monday and play every Tuesday as part of the St Johns competition.

The Dominators have been graded in D section 2.
The second game of the competition proper was against Remuera Intermediate Rubies. After a slow first half leading 6-4, the 3rd quarter the team clicked in to gear and led 13-5, finishing off with a 16-7 win.
The first game of the competition proper was against St Pius X. After 3 grading round and coming together as a team, this was the first really meaningful game together. The team show cased the efforts on the training field and put in to practice some of the basics to grind out a 13-6 win
We have played 3 grading games vs St Cuthberts, Sunz and Holy Cross. We will now be graded for the competition proper.
PBS sent a group of 10 boys and 8 girls to an Auckland Cricket festival day. This was all about exposing students who would not otherwise play cricket to the game. All students learnt a great deal and got to do everything from batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping.
